Mr. WanderSoft launch · 3 testers

You’re testing
something early.

Mr. Wander is an AI travel-inspiration app. Drop in any travel content — a screenshot, a TikTok link, a YouTube vlog — and AI extracts what matters: destination, vibe, key details, best time to visit. It lives in your Vault so you can actually find it later.

You’re one of three people poking at this before anyone else sees it. Below is what to try, what to expect, and what’s deliberately incomplete.

What to try
  1. 1
    Sign in

Tap Begin and sign in with Google.

ExpectYou should land on a personalized Explore page with your name and 0 saves.

  2. 2
    Capture a screenshot

Go to Capture, pick the Screenshot tab, upload a travel photo from your camera roll — anywhere you've been or want to go.

ExpectWithin ~10 seconds, you should see a success card with the destination, country, vibe phrase, mood, place type, and a few key details.

FlagIf the destination is wrong or weirdly specific, that's the kind of feedback I need most.

  3. 3
    Capture a URL

Go to Capture, pick the URL tab, paste a travel article (try Lonely Planet, NYT Travel, or a Booking.com listing).

ExpectSame success card as above, with a real photo pulled from the article.

FlagTikTok and Instagram links will fail with 'use a screenshot instead' — that's intentional, but I want to know if you hit it and the messaging makes sense.

  4. 4
    Open your Vault

Tap Vault in the bottom nav. You should see your saves as photo cards.

ExpectCards show the destination + country. Tap any card to see the full details.

FlagIf a card has no photo (gradient only), tell me which destination.

  5. 5
    Try the filters

In Vault, tap a vibe pill (Quiet, Active, Cultural, Food) or a region pill (Europe, Asia, Americas).

ExpectThe grid filters to matching saves. Two filters compound.

  6. 6
    Capture 2-3 more

Save 2-3 more things you actually care about. The point isn't to fill the database — the point is to feel whether you'd come back to your Vault later.

ExpectNo defined outcome here. This is the question I most need answered: would you actually open this app again next week?

What I’m trying to learn
  • Does the AI get the destination right?
  • Is the Vault useful enough that you'd come back to it?
  • Where does the flow feel slow, broken, or confusing?
  • If you'd add one thing to make this actually useful when planning a real trip — what is it?
Not built yet
  • No itinerary generation. You can’t ask it to plan a trip from your saves — that’s the next major feature. For now this is capture + organize only.
  • No editing. If the AI extracts the wrong destination, you can’t fix it in the UI. Note it down right in the form below.
  • No deletion.Same — no way to remove a save yet. Mentally mark anything you’d delete.
  • JS-walled URLs may fail. TikTok and Instagram often return generic shell pages when scraped. The app will refuse them honestly rather than hallucinate. Upload the screenshot itself instead.
Send feedback

Use the form below as you go — short notes are better than long ones, and quantity beats quality. No deadline. If you prefer email, send to tim@gomrwander.com.
